How to Obtain a New ISIS Entity Account ID Number  
 
Summary: Find out how to obtain a new ISIS Entity Account ID number so you can bill for services that your department provides to outside entities.
What to do How to do it
1 Get contact information for the entity you plan to bill.
  1. Get this information at a minimum:
    • Company's name and address
    • Name of individual contact at company
    • Contact's phone number
    • Contact's fax number and e-mail address, if available
2 Submit a request to University Billing Services (UBS).
  1. Send the contact information you collected in step 1 to UBS by e-mail or campus mail (Mail Code 0025).
  2. UBS will contact you with the ID number when it is created in ISIS.
3 Record and maintain your ISIS ID numbers, and use them consistently.
  1. Keep an internal log or database of the ISIS ID number for each company you bill.
  2. Each time you invoice the company, use the same ID number.
