Password Help From Your DSA  
 
Summary: If you have a UCSD e-mail address, learn how to reset your password in Single Sign-On.

Note: If you've forgotten your Business Systems password, or if it no longer works, and you don't have a UCSD e-mail address (someone@ucsd.edu), contact the ACT Help Desk, (858) 534-1853.

If you have a UCSD e-mail address, follow these instructions:

What to do How to do it
1 Find out who your Departmental Security Administrator (DSA) is.
  1. Search for your DSA.

    Note: If your DSA is not listed, contact the individual in your department who provides computer/ technical support.

2 Contact your DSA and provide the applicable information.
  1. Provide your:
    • First name

    • Middle initial

    • Last name

    • Employee ID number

    • Phone number

    • E-mail address

    • Mail code
  2. Indicate the system (ISIS, IFIS, PPS, SQLDSE, DARWIN, Timekeeping, etc.) to which you need access.
  3. If possible, provide the error message you received when you tried to gain access.

    Note: If your DSA is not available, contact the ACT Help Desk, (858) 534-1853.
3 Change your password.
  1. After your DSA resets your password, you can change it by using the Change Password tool in AccessLink.
