Crop your image to the proper size. |
- Before uploading an image, you should first crop it to the proper size using an image editor such as Photoshop.
- The image size will vary depending on where and how you'd like to use it.
- Decide on the image size as you plan the content for your page.

Log into the Content Manager. |
- Click the Content Manager link at the bottom of any Blink page.
- Log in via Single Sign-On or by entering your username and password.

Enter the Gallery. |
- Click the Gallery link near the top of the left sidebar under "Content Maintenance."
- On the Blink Gallery Maintenance screen, click the Add button.

Add your image to the Gallery.
Note: Disregard instructions for "Home page image" and "Thumbnail image," and leave these slots empty. |
- On the Step 1: Upload the file screen, click the Browse button next to the "Article image" slot.
- Browse to the image on your computer.
- Double-click the image file, or click on the image and then click Open. Information about the image location will appear in the Gallery's "Article image" slot.
- Click Next.

Name your photo.
Note: Disregard the "preview images" slots for "Home page image" and "Thumbnail image." |
- On the Step 2: Describe the file screen, fill in the Name field with a brief name of the photo (for example, Sun God). This is the name under which the photo will be listed in the Gallery.
Note: Remember to note the name of your image exactly as you entered it, so that you can find it later in the Image Gallery.
- Leave the Description field empty.
- Select a Category and Keyword from the drop-down lists. This will assign the image to a searchable category in the Gallery.
Note: Choose the category and keyword most appropriate to your image.
- The Image creation date will automatically fill with today's date.
- Leave the Photographer field empty unless there is a photographer to give credit to.
- The Location of original image field is automatically filled in.

Complete the process.

- Click Finish. You will see the words "Picture added" in red at the top of the screen. Your image is now added to the Gallery.
