Parking grace periods: Transportation and Parking Services honors parking grace periods during the Thanksgiving and winter breaks.

• Campus: Park in red, green, yellow, or metered spaces without a permit or fee during these times:
  • 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, to 7 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26
  • 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, to 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2
• Medical centers: Physicians and staff can park without a permit or fee in red, green, or metered spaces, or in patient and visitor areas at the Hillcrest and La Jolla Medical Centers, Shiley Eye Center, and Moores Cancer Center during these times:
  • 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, to 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26
  • 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2

Shuttle service: These shuttles operate on their regular schedules, except on Nov. 22 and 23; Dec. 24, 25 and 31; and Jan. 1:

• Coaster Shuttle
• Hillcrest/ Campus Shuttle
• Mesa Housing Shuttle
• Scripps Institution of Oceanography Shuttle
• Torrey Pines Center Shuttle

Parking offices, booths and kiosks will be closed:

• Thanksgiving break: Thursday, Nov. 22, to Sunday, Nov 25. Regular parking operations will resume Monday, Nov. 26.

• Winter break: Monday, Dec. 24, to Tuesday, Jan. 2. Regular parking operations will resume Wednesday, Jan. 2.

• These closures include:
  • Campus Parking Office
  • Hillcrest Parking Office
  • Special Events Parking
  • Gilman and North Point information centers
  • Patient/ visitor kiosks at the Hillcrest and La Jolla Medical Centers
