Every standard configuration Dell computer ordered from Marketplace Preview comes with Dell’s Gold Technical Support. This three-year phone-support service is automatic and free of charge.
Gold Technical Support phone service is fast, easy to use, and comprehensive. With Gold Technical Support:
- You receive support from a team of engineers dedicated to Gold Technical Support customers.
- You bypass troubleshooting and avoid answering unnecessary questions.
- On average, your hold time per phone call is less than two minutes.
- You receive quarterly Gold Service usage reports.
Note: The free Gold Technical Support does not apply if you choose a non-standard configuration for your computer.
How to use Gold Technical Support:
- Look for a dedicated Gold Technical Support telephone number in the instructions that accompany your computer shipment.
- When you make a service call to the dedicated number, the Dell technician will have a record of your purchase and automatically provide the enhanced service.
- If you don't use Dell's dedicated number, you'll reach Dell’s standard service department, and you won't receive the Gold Technical Support benefits.
Note: Gold Technical Support is an enhancement to Dell's basic Next Day On-Site Technical Service.
