Triton Cable video services started on the Campus in 1993 with 36 channels of video including HBO, ESPN, USA, TBS, six student channels, and many high quality video services.
Students also receive data services via DOCSIS cable modems over the same cable system. Currently Triton Cable provides video and data services on one wire to all the student communities within the UCSD campus.
