Notification Schedule

Click the down arrow to view your options. Select one of the options for report production.

Most departments should select At Ledger Close in Data Warehouse which provides the earliest e-mail notifications and Overdraft Balance reports for month-end reporting.

Example: April 30, 2003 ended on a Wednesday and the April ledger closed May 3, 2003. In this case the e-mail notifications for April overdraft balance reports were sent on Sunday, May 5, 2003.

Criteria Detail Records

This area displays the selection and reporting criteria for each of the detail profiles created in this group profile. You create detail profiles records by using the Add Standard Profiles or Add Custom Profile buttons, described below.
  • View: Click the "paper and pencil" icon to view the detail profile.
  • Del: Click the trashcan icon to delete this detail profile. If no trashcan icon is present, you can only view this detail profile.
  • Detail Name: The name that you assigned to this detail profile is displayed.
  • Overdraft Criteria: The selection and reporting criteria are displayed.
  • Preview: Click this button to view the Overdraft Preview report.
Note: When you create a new profile, this area is blank.

Add Profile buttons

These buttons appear after you have created your profile definition. At that time, you have two options:
  • Click the Add Standard Profiles button to have the system create default profile detail records for you based on recommended selection and reporting criteria.
  • Click the Add Custom Profile button to create your own customized profile detail records to meet specific department needs.
Note: If you are a beginning user, use the "standard" profiles because they meet policy requirements and can be easily modified later to suit your needs.

E-mail addresses

Overdraft reports are e-mailed to the recipients that you select. To enter e-mail addresses, click the Add E-Mail Address button. You must provide at least one e-mail address, and you can enter additional email addresses of individuals who should receive copies of the reports. Follow the Hints on E-Mails tips on the screen.

Note: Only UCSD e-mail addresses are accepted. E-mail addresses are validated through the UCSD phone directory.
