The UCSD Health Care Facilitator Program seeks to improve the communication and service that faculty and staff receive from their health plans. The program also offers educational information to help you effectively use your health benefits.
Participants can receive confidential assistance in the following areas:
- Billing issues
- Medical care accessibility problems
- Customer education regarding medical plan coverage
- Eligibility
- Benefit coordination with Medicare and other plans
- Referral services
Eligible participants:
- Active and retired faculty
- Staff and their family members
- Surviving spouses
- Beneficiaries
- Other UC annuitants
Cost: The program is offered at no charge to eligible participants.
