Administrative Computing and Telecommunications (ACT) Security and Network Applications is responsible for establishing, monitoring, and maintaining data-security environments for the central campus.
Gabriel Lawrence, Director of IT Security, manages the Security and Network Applications group, which includes identity management, network security, application security, and system security. This group focuses on people, technology, and processes to reduced the exposure of systems and data while maintaining the open collaborative environment that is the hallmark of a research institution.
The team's goal is to ensure that the security of the campus data meets all legal, policy, and procedural requirements.
