The Central Cashier's Office is located in University Center, Building 402, Suite 170 in the Student Services Center (map). The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
At the Central Cashier's Office, departments can:
- Make deposits:
If your department receives payments in the form of cash or checks, you can deposit all payments at this office. See Before You Make a Deposit for details on good deposit practices.
Note: Before you can make deposits for your department, you must obtain an endorsement stamp to use on the backs of checks.
- Receive a petty cash reimbursement:
The Central Cashier's Office provides reimbursements to employees who have made small purchases under $50 for their departments. See How to Get a Petty Cash Reimbursement for more details.
- Order currency and coin:
Change orders can be filled while you wait, or you can order your change in advance by calling (858) 534-3748. For additional information, see Currency and Coin Denominations and How to Order Currency and Coin.
