Background: Steelcase, UCSD's contract furniture vendor, works through BKM, a local supplier. BKM participates with Steelcase, the UC system, and UCSD in resolving problems that may arise when ordering furniture.
Types of problems that may arise:
- The Steelcase UC Services Center fails to provide an order confirmation.
- It's difficult to schedule an appointment with a BKM representative.
- A BKM representative often misses or arrives late to appointments.
- You encounter problems with scheduling deliveries or installations.
- It's difficult to connect with your BKM representative by phone.
- The information you have is unclear or insufficient.
- You have questions about the fees you've been charged.
- You're having difficulties returning a product.
- The BKM representative is not acting quickly to resolve problems such as missing parts, damaged furniture, or incorrect installation.
