- May be used only if the expenses are specifically authorized in the contract or grant, or by agency policy, and only to the extent and for the purpose(s) authorized
- No alcoholic beverage expenses or tobacco purchases may be charged to federal funds

Endowments, gifts, and all other funds administered by UCSD |
- Any expenses restricted by the funding agency
|
In the event of a conflict between agency and UCSD policy, the stricter policy applies.
