The UCSD Police Department provides call boxes in many UCSD parking lots and structures. Use these call boxes if you need Police Department assistance or a safety escort.
In addition to using call boxes, you can contact the Police Department via courtesy phones located in or near buildings.
Outdoor call boxes are yellow with either a red dome light or blue light on top. Lift up the handset, then press the button. In two to three seconds you will be connected with the police dispatcher.
Call boxes located in the parking structures are metallic silver with a blue light on top. Press the button, and in two to three seconds you will be connected with the police dispatcher.
