Special Events in Classroom Space

General assignment classroom space may be available for special events such as orientations, guest lectures, films, alternate exam rooms, colloquia, and conferences. Contact the Scheduling Office to check availability and reserve appropriate space for the day and time requested.
Special events during the academic year (not associated with course listings) are not scheduled until after the second week of classes. Requests to use classroom space for non-academic purposes during final exam week are not permitted.
Special events during the summer are handled through three offices:
- The Summer Session Office for summer classes
- The Scheduling Office for all other academic department requests
- The Conference Services Office for all conferences and non-UCSD affiliate events
