The Ride Along Program is available to UCSD students, faculty, and staff. If you participate in the program, you can ride along with a UCSD police officer as the officer carries out patrol duties on the campus.
To schedule a ride-along, contact the UCSD police dispatcher, (858) 534-4357. The dispatcher will make arrangements with the watch commander for the shift that will be working at the time you want to ride along.
Note: If you participate in the Ride Along Program, you will be expected to sign a department waiver form and pass a computer check for warrants and other law enforcement records.
