You can access the overdraft balance report from the preview button on the Overdraft Profile Group Definition and Overdraft Custom Profile Criteria pages, or from your overdraft e-mail message. From this report, you can view the trend report, fund summary report, balance detail report, and add or change notes and codes. When previewing the report, you can continue altering your selection and reporting criteria on the Overdraft Custom Profile Criteria page until you have achieved the desired results.

Report Title
The Report Title area shows the fiscal period for which the report was run, including the end date of that period, as well as the date the report was generated. At the upper right corner of this section, you will find four options:
- Click the Print icon to send a copy of this report to your local printer.
- Click the Logout icon to log off the system. Any unsaved profile details will be lost.
- Click the Stop icon to halt the processing of the current report. Use this option in cases where the selection and reporting criteria result in an exceptionally large report and you want to stop the processing to further refine the criteria.
- Click the Close icon to close this window.
Profile Criteria
This area of the report displays the selection and reporting criteria that were specified for this report.
Trend Report
For each line on the overdraft report, you can view the trend report associated with it. Click the number in this column to launch a new window displaying the trend report.
Fund Summary
For each line on the report, you can click the fund number to drill down to the FinancialLink fund summary report. Use this report to check for offsetting funds in other sub-funds.
Balance Detail Report
For each line on the report, click the Fund Title or Index Title to view the balance detail report. This report displays sub-account detail for the selected overdraft balance.
Notes and Codes
Notes and Codes are your way of indicating plans and actions in progress to resolve the overdraft balance.
- Notes: Click Note to access the FinancialLink notes system. If this report was requested by index, then your note will be attached at the index level. For reports requested by fund/ organization, the note will be at the fund/ organization level. Use the notes to describe the resolution actions in conjunction with the codes. Be sure to include a target date that identifies when these actions will be completed.
Note: Your overdraft notes are not limited to the overdraft report. They are part of the FinancialLink notes system and may be viewed on any FinancialLink report that displays notes.
- Codes: Click Code to access the Overdraft Codes Maintenance page, where you can select one or more codes that apply to this overdraft.
Close Preview/ Close Report
If you are viewing a preview of the report, click the Close Preview button to return to the Overdraft Group Profile Definition page. If you are viewing the report from the e-mail message, the report will close, and you can return to your e-mail.
