Your agreement with Imprints requires a key operator to report both the copier meter reading and a current inventory of supplies on a monthly basis.
A key operator is assigned to each Imprints copier. During the final week of every month, the key operator receives an e-mail reminder to report the copier meter reading using a linked Web form. The key operator should report the meter reading by the due date indicated in the e-mail.
The key operator reports the following information:
- Imprints copier number, found on a sticker on the front panel of the copier
- Current meter reading
- The Imprints supply inventory stored at the department, including:
- Standard paper (reams)
- Legal-size paper (reams)
- Extra toner (bottles or cartridges)
To get a meter reading, check the chart below. Find your copier model in the left column, then look in the box on the right to find out how to get a meter reading.

- Hold down the red or orange Clear button for approximately 3 seconds — until numbers begin to flash on the screen — and then release the button.
- You will see the letters "cf" followed by three sets of flashing numbers.
- Record the numbers in sequence. This is the meter reading for this copier.

- Scroll down using arrow keys to Reports and press Enter.
- Scroll sideways to Billing/ Counters and press Enter.
- Report Total Impressions number displayed on the printed page.

- Press Machine Status button.
- Touch Billing Counter on display.
- Report Total Impressions.
- Touch Close on display.
- Press Clear All button.
- Press Confirm.
