Student Policies and Judicial Affairs (SJPA) |
SJPA assists by:
- Administering student judicial affairs, including:
- Student conduct
- Monitoring compliance requirements
- Applicable federal and state laws
- University policies and campus regulations, such as right to privacy as it affects students
- Giving legal advice and consultation to faculty and administration on student-related matters
- Publishing the Student Conduct Code, which identifies students' rights and responsibilities
- Overseeing Student Legal Services, Student Office for Human Relations, Student Affirmative Action and Educational Equity Program, and the Office of Religious Affairs.
