Set up or connect to the Google RSS feed reader. |
- Connect to the Google Reader.
- If you do not have a Google account, create one. If you do have an account, sign in.

Copy the Blink feed into the reader. |
- On the Welcome screen, click Enter the feed URL.
- Copy and paste http://blink.ucsd.edu/Blink/External/RSS/ContentUpdate.rss
into the Feed URL box (located directly underneath "Add a feed" in the upper part of your screen), and click Preview.
The list of new and updated articles will appear on the left side of the screen. The article that is selected is shown in the center column of the screen.
Note: The feed is dynamic. This means that you will automatically get the most current information about new and updated information when you request the feed.

Read the article(s). |
- To move through the articles, use either the navigation buttons (up and down) at the top of the articles list or the keyboard shortcuts listed beneath the main article.
- To read a particular article, move to it and click on it. When it appears in the center column, click Show original item. A new window will open.

Subscribe to the feed. |
- To make the Blink feed a permanent part of your feed collection, click Subscribe above the main article.
- When you are finished, click Sign out in the upper right corner of your screen.

Read your updated feed. |
- Any time you want to check your feed, go to http://reader.google.com.
- Click Your Subscriptions, and then click Blink Content Update from your list of subscriptions.
- Follow the instructions in Step 3 to move through the articles or to read a particular article.
