Create a new project in MyFunds. |
- Go to MyFunds.
- Select Manage My Projects.
- Select Create a new Project Number.
- Enter your group identifier. If you don't have one, contact your DSA for assistance.

Enter a project number and description. |
- Project Number: Enter a combination of numbers and letters. The project number must be exactly eight characters.
- Description: Enter a description that is meaningful to you.

Enter fund manager and PI information. |
- Manager Employee ID: Use the Mgr Name Look Up button to look up the fund manager's name (even your own). This will populate the field with the correct employee ID (without leading zeroes).
- Manager Name: Enter the fund manager's name.
- PI Employee ID: Use the PI Name Look Up button to look up the PI's name. This will populate the field with the correct employee ID (without leading zeroes).
- PI Name: Enter the PI's name.
Note: If you are creating a project for a report for your own viewing, enter yourself as the PI.

Enter index information. |
- Enter at least one index number for the project.

Save the project. |
- Click Save Project.
