Cost Sharing System: How to Run an Awards Under-Cost Shared Report  
 
Summary: Find out how to run an awards under-cost shared report in the Cost Sharing System (CSS).
What to do How to do it
1 Go to the Awards Under-Cost Shared Report function in FinancialLink.
  1. Go to the Cost Sharing System in FinancialLink.
  2. Go to the Reports screen.
  3. Choose the Cost Sharing Home Page option under Cost Sharing.
  4. Select Standard Reports.
  5. Select Awards Under-Cost Shared Report.

You must have a valid User ID to access the Cost Sharing System. If you don't have a User ID, contact your departmental security administrator (DSA) for assistance.

Note: CSS is case-sensitive. Enter financial information in all caps.
2 Enter organization code and submit.
  1. Organization Code: This field is mandatory. If budgets were entered without organization code, they won't be in this report and will need to be monitored separately.
  2. Click Submit Form to run the report.
3 Get the report.
  1. Report heading: Click the icons under the report heading to save, print, or e-mail the report.
  2. Awards Predicted to be Under Cost Shared for: The report lists:
    • Award/ Fund/ Org/ Prog Award information for that budget
    • CSStDt/ CSEndDt Start and end date for each budget
    • CSAmount Budgeted cost share amount
    • Balance Remaining cost share balance
    • PastMoAvg (CSAmount - Balance) / (today's date - CSStDt)
    • NeededMoAvg Balance / (CSEndDt - today's date)
