Express Card: How to Become an Department Administrator  
 
Summary: Use this step-by-step guide to become an Express Card Department Administrator (ECDA).
What todo How to do it
1 Obtain approval.
  1. Talk to your department business officer about becoming an Express Card Department Administrator (ECDA). The department business officer is the only one who can designate an ECDA.
  2. Complete and submit the required authorization form (PDF).
Note: A department or unit can have more than one ECDA.

2 Review EDCA documents.
  1. Review the Readiness Checklist with your department business officer.
  2. Review the Department Administrator Responsibilities.
3 Complete training.
  1. Enroll in and attend the Express Card Administrator Training class.
