Summary: Read about address standards and tracking procedures for incoming FedEx packages.
What to do: How to do it:
Receive a FedEx package. Be sure your incoming FedEx package is addressed properly with the official UCSD address format:
  • Name of contact person or person receiving goods
  • Department and phone number
  • Room number and building name
  • University of California, San Diego
  • 9500 Gilman Dr., Dept. plus Mail Code
  • La Jolla, CA 92093 plus Mail Code

Track a FedEx package. If you want to track the progress of your incoming FedEx package:
  1. Contact the sender and get the tracking number.
  2. Go to the FedEx tracking Web site.
  3. Follow the tracking instructions.


    4. If you cannot find your package on the FedEx Web site, contact the sender.
