How to Change MyDashboard Tab Properties

Summary: MyDashboard contains an Edit MyDashboard tab that lets you change the properties of the tabs and charts.

To access MyDashboard, go to the Blink home page and click the MyDashboard icon link in the right column. To use MyDashboard, you need a valid user ID and password for EmployeeLink, FinancialLink, or Blink Student/ Class Info.

Follow these steps:

Click the EDIT MyDashboard tab in MyDashboard.

Locate the properties, shown in the gray headers on the tab.

Perform one or more of the functions explained in the chart below.

Click the Update MyDashboard button to submit your changes.

Type of edit		How to do it
	Delete the tab and all of the charts it contains.	Click the Delete icon in the gray tab properties area of the tab you want to delete.
	Change the name of the tab.	Edit the Tab Name text field in the grey tab properties area of the tab you want to rename.
	Change the order of the tabs.	Use the Tab Order drop-down menu to edit the tab sequence.
	Edit a tab width.	Change the number in the Tab Width text field in the gray tab properties area of the tab you want to resize. This is how tab widths work: Each tab may contain no charts or many charts. Each chart has a width attribute. The charts will fall onto the tab from left to right until their widths add up to be greater than the tab width that they're on. The charts will wrap to the next line when the sum of their widths for that row is greater than the tab width that they're on.
	Add a new tab.	Click one of the Add Tab buttons in the gray tab properties area of the MyDashboard Editor screen. A new tab will appear at the end of your personalized tabs (prior to the Queries tab), with a default name and width.
