How to Request a Hazardous Waste Collection

Summary: The Environmental Management Facility collects, processes, and disposes of chemical and radioactive hazardous waste generated by UCSD facilities. Use 1 of the 3 methods below to request a hazardous waste collection.

Requests must be received before 7 a.m. on your regularly scheduled collection day for waste to be removed that day. Requests received after 7 a.m. will be removed on the next regularly scheduled collection day. See Hazardous Waste Collection Schedule for your collection days.

For biohazardous and medical waste, read How to Package and Dispose of Biohazardous and Medical Waste.
