Modify your Hummingbird software to use Stunnel by changing your host connection address from hubble.ucsd.edu to 127.0.0.1. |
- Follow these steps:
- Start a session.
- Click File at the top of the window.
- Click Disconnect.
- Click Options at the top of the window.
- Click Edit Session Profile to open the Session Profile window.
- Click Session in the Settings Groups.
- Click the Host tab.
- Enter 127.0.0.1 in the Host Name field and click O.K.
- Click File at the top of the window.
- Click Save Session Profile and click Save.
- Close Hummingbird.
- Restart your PC to activate Stunnel and open a new Hummingbird session.
- If you need to shut down Stunnel, right click the icon at the bottom of your screen and exit.
If you need to restart Stunnel, you can click the Stunnel icon on your desktop or restart your PC.
Remember, without Stunnel or other SSL support, you won’t be allowed to access the ACT mainframe.
