How to Order Large-Format Printing  
 
Summary: Imprints can produce high-quality color or black-and-white banners, signs, and displays from scanned materials or digital files.
What to do How to do it
Design your artwork or select the artwork or photo to be scanned. If you need assistance, contact Imprints Design Services, (858) 534-3020, for:
  • Design advice
  • Help preparing your files
  • Assistance scanning your existing artwork or photos
Choose your printing medium. Select a medium based on how you'll use the document. For example:
  • Bond paper is good for indoor posters. Poly is also excellent for posters.
  • Scrim vinyl is well-suited for large hanging banners and posters.
  • Tyvek is a durable medium that prolongs the life of your banner or sign indoors or outdoors.
  • Photo papers are appropriate for enlargements of scanned or digital photos.
  • Cotton canvas works well with art reproductions.
Choose your finished size.
Large Format Color printing

  • Standard widths are 24" and 36". The maximum print width is 60" (depending on the medium you select).
Choose a finishing option. Select the finishing option based on how you'll use the document. For example:
  • Laminating provides durability and protection.
  • Grommeting is a finish for hanging banners and signs.
  • Mounting on foam board provides rigidity for displays and exhibits.
Place your order. Complete a job ticket and submit your order to Imprints.
