A Departmental Safety Coordinator (DSC) serves as a liaison between a department and the Environment, Health & Safety Office. The DSC receives and distributes safety information.
DSCs represent all their co-workers, regardless of the kind of work they perform. Every UCSD department has at least one DSC. Large departments and departments located in multiple buildings may have more than one DSC. |
