P-1, P-2, and P-3 visas are issued for the temporary admission of entertainment groups, individual athletes or a team of athletes, and people accompanying such groups. P-3 visa holders are admitted to the United States to teach, perform, or coach under a program that is culturally unique. The total period of stay in the United States is limited to the duration of the event.
