All professional and support staff employees who hold career appointments serve a probationary period during which their work performance and general suitability for employment are evaluated in writing. The probationary period is completed on the first of the month following six months of continuous service at one-half time or more without a break in service for all employees except: limited career and per diem employees, police officers, and public safety dispatchers. |
