Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) refers to a standardized measure of number of employees and workload.
Example: "2.00 Staff FTE" could mean any of the following:- Two full-time (100%) staff employees
- Two 50% staff employees plus one 100% staff employee
- Any other combination of staff employees whose percentages of time add up to 200%
Note: FTE appears in a wide variety of contexts, including TA FTE, weighted student FTE, and unweighted student FTE.
