Comment on UC START proposal
Due to anticipated budget cuts, the University is proposing a temporary, voluntary Staff and Academic Reduction in Time (START) program between July 1, 2008, and June 30, 2010, to achieve salary savings. The Regents will consider the proposal at their May meeting.
- E-mail any comments about the proposed START program by May 28 to Jenni Leibman, director of employee relations, policy development and work/ life; or Tricia Takacs, director of academic personnel.
